Vacancy rate in The Greater Tokyo Area remains below 1%, The Greater Osaka Area Rents Up 3.1% q-o-q

 

​​The vacancy rate of Large Multi-Tenant (LMT) logistics facilities in the Greater Tokyo Area stood at 0.6% in Q2 2020, up 0.1 point q-o-q, but still below 1%. Demand continues to be driven by large-scale requirements. Effective rents rose to JPY 4,390 per tsubo, up 0.2% q-o-q.

The vacancy rate in the Greater Osaka Area LMT was 4.8% in Q2 2020. Effective rents rose to JPY 3,930 per tsubo, up 3.1% q-o-q, due to higher-than-expected demand.

The vacancy rate in the Greater Nagoya Area LMT stood at 7.3% in Q2 2020. Effective rents were flat q-o-q at JPY 3,590 per tsubo amid limited occupier activity.
