87,250 m2 of office letting and sales transactions were signed in the Brussels market in Q2 2020, bringing the H1 total to just 155,550m². This low take-up is mainly caused by the tumultuous economic context caused by the Covid-19 health crisis. In March and April, the transaction volume further contracted, as a result of the national lockdown. In spite of the continous difficult maket conditions, Q2 registered two large deals, both in the Leopold district.
